Services
Wordshop Editing offers a variety of services to meet your needs.
What Type of Editing Do We Do?
The word “edit” can have a variety of meanings. Here’s a closer look at the types of editing and writing services we offer and what each process entails.
Copy Editing
Copy editing examines the technical correctness of a work. During a copy edit, our editors make sure that the punctuation, grammar, and spelling of your project are 100% correct and that your finished product is error free.
Restructuring
Restructuring examines the organizational flow of a work. This process is used in developing the organization, layout, and visual emphases of a resume. Beyond ensuring that everything is grammatically sound, the restructuring process gives your resume that extra element that will get you noticed.
Writing
Writing is the creation of new content. We offer writing services for website content, articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and more. When we write content for you, we will reflect the tone and style of the content’s destination, be that on the homepage of your business website or a blog post for your peers.
Substantive Editing (Upon Request)
Substantive editing examines the tone, style, and content of a work. In a substantive edit, our editors will perfect the word choice, sentence structure, and clarity of ideas throughout the project. Substantive editing is available upon request and is priced per project.
